Japanese History
After taking our nap and light meals, we head for our first destination - - 国立歴史民俗博物館*National Museum of Japanese History.
聰明さん gives me a simple reason for the visit: To understand Japan better. I may be fimilar with Japanese drama, some Japanese band, even attend some Japanese language classes, but I can never truely understand them. The visit, which exposed me anything from history, archaeology, to folklore like traditional musical instrument, etc., gives me a good "feel" of Japanese world, and hence i can understand them even better.
I must say that even 聰明さん himself surprise and found something new to him, especially when he found a ship labeled with his family name Koga*古賀 :) So we are like two big kids exploring the new old world, learning and seeing old new things. One thing i like about this museum is they provide audio-guided recorder. Anyway, i tend to ask 聰明さん questions and listen to his explaination most of the time, too dependent, haha!
Since taking photos with flash light is not allowed, so i had to fully ultilise my Manual SLR with tripod. That's also the only way to take photos of us both. And i would like to say sorry to 聰明さん, because i guess he is still waiting for that photo - - us posing in front of the ship 古賀 :p
Soon after we leave the museum, we hang out around the town area, and also venture into some huge organic rice field, fantastic! But what's even more wonderful await us at home - - dinner!
