The Indian Touch and Ciao!!!

Oh Lorenzo likes this shop so much. Look at all those friuts, fresh and juicy. A typical way of starting his meal : Wallop whole bunch of fruits, amount that i think is way too much. European mind is alright with me, no problem, but not European stomach! Hehe!

After the breakfast, we went straight to Batu Caves, where the Indian temple is still under renovation, for as long as i can remember (erm, it's my third year in KL:p). Just like almost any other construction site in the city, workers are mainly RM 15 - RM 30 an hour foreign citizen that we felt uncomfortable with. We live in, pray in, study in, shop in, sports in, date in...some of the most fantastic structure build with their blood and sweat.

I was trying to capture the temple with the blue sky, only to be denied by camera's angle :( But i guess i am happy with this one, the cute little kid certainly lighten up my day!

While Lorenzo talking his own sweet time to rest (nap :p), i am happy to utilized the time, looking for my shots... Like this one, some of our indian friends actually climb the 272 step stairs bare-footed, compare to Lorenzo's Nike :o

What you don't see before this photo is, the husband hurried few step down the stairs, holding his love one's hand tighly...

Suddenly i realize the advantages of photographer, especially when they are on assignment : You do whatever to get your shots. Sometime, patient is the main key of sucess, you need to be there and then, at the right moment to push the shutter button...

Lorenzo said there's something in this photo that we don't see everyday, can anyone guess? Hints : Something that will attract "normal" guy, covered or not, hehe!!! :p

"Kodak moment" with Siva's family after a wonderful dinner, in front of the Rangoli. Other than Lorenzo, another special guest is Amit from Indian, whom i met couples of week before. My second Deepavali in Siva's house, hopefully more to come :)

Lorenzo's "last" meal in Malaysia : Mother's home cook lunch. An ordinary meal for unordinary trip, friendship, and moments!

I've been always amazed by the luggages that he had : diving fins, regulator, digicam, underwater digicam, magazines, portable hard drive, clothes, bla bla bla...But i guess when a man is pursuing his dreams, nothing is really that heavy and complicated after all.

I will surely get feezed-up with you sometime, my friend! CIAO! ARRIVEDERCI!!!

More great pictures, LOW.

As for that four legged, winged animal, it looks at first glance to be a kind of Pegasus, winged horse. But it isn't a horse and it has a lot more than wings! At the risk of sounding crude, my father used to say about usless things, "that makes about as much sense as tits on a bull".

I'm so confused!

Man, I'm really envying Lorenzo right now! So much to see and do there! Can I come and spend a year in Malaysia?

Nah...I'd have too much trouble trying to explain it to my wife and workplace.

While both of you are most welcomed to stay here and get confused with me again, i'm not able to do the explaination part, i guess :)

Great trip you have planned for Lorenzo! He has arrived right in the middle of a twin celebration of Deepavali and Hari Raya! Lucky him! Low, you have done a fantastic job of showing the best of Malaysia. proud of you. :-D

There are so many deities in the temples that I lost count of the number of the different types. A few more prominent ones that are Shiva, Krishna, Rama, Ganesh, Brahma, Vishnu, etc.. Personally, I actually find Ganesh cute, with his elephant nose. :-D

For sharing, here are the
Hindhu Deities

Thanks yd! I'm doing it Malaysian styled, warm hearted and endless talk of nonsense, haha...Lucky him, really!

Thanks for the sharing, personally Ganesh is the only one i found common, easier to remember too.

Good thing is i found myself in similar state of mind while i am in both chinese and indian temples. Strange too, no? :)
