Fraser's Hill

It's a bit dramatical before we are really on our way to Fraser's Hill.

As we are about to leave Raub town behind, someone spotted the petrol metre, which is runnig really low, so we have to make a U-turn for petrol. While YM is not so fimilar with her father's jeep, she rang him up to confirm the tank's capacity, only to find out we are looking at the wrong "digital metre"! We should refer to the small round old-fashioned metre instead! What you don't see in this picture was YM is in the car, with her cell-phone, talking to her father... Lucky she didn't notice the "No cell-phone allowed" signboard? Huh??

To hike 1,524 metres a.s.l. with this jeep is just a piece of cake. But to sit on the back of the jeep may not be that easy and comfortable. So i choose to stand up instead! Easy drive from Raub - Gap, nasty and almost single lane road up to Fraser's Hill.

I've alerady forgotten when was the last time i am here, but i will always remember this clock tower -- few distinguishable landmarks in town. As we explore further our empty stomach leads us to the Ye Olde Smokehouse... Why? These pictures below should tell the story...

We CAME...

...surveyed...

...think of strategies...

...we CONQUER!!!

It's just too bad that we don't have time to hike some of the forest trails, but getting ourself relaxed and doing nothing at the paddock are just as nice! YM said that these pine tree were once background to some advertisement. We are in the advertisement then, haha! Reminds me of Minamiちゃん. She always said she is like in the postcard while she travel with us in Malaysia. Back in Okinawa*沖縄, she is in another postcard, i guess :)

The ride going downhill was even more nasty, the jeep moves faster, everyone wanted to get home fast. This is where i cursed the driver most - - but she failed to throw me out of the jeep, hehe...
