Day 4 : Happy Valentine!

It's 14th February.

聰明さん might have wondering how to explain to his better half that he is not free today. Either i create this trouble or i actually saved him: Everything is so expensive during Valentine's. But don't thank me, 聰明さん, haha!!! (Just kidding!)

Corridor, 聰明さん's apartment.

Our next destination - - Tsukiji Market*築地市場. Tokyo Central Wholesale Market is one of the biggest market in the world. The official website can give you all the statistic: 615,409 tons and 498 billion yen worth of fish a year, not to mention various other vegetables, meats and flowers.

Both 聰明 and i were equally excited, since he've never been there before as well. Although i rekons that we should be there 5 a.m. in the morning, but eventually we had to surrender, we need more rest!

Why 5 a.m.? To witness the ever famous tuna auction! It has proof to be our mistakes this time around. Recently, tourist are being banned from entering the auction area. For the good and bad, huh?

Gyudon, my favourites!

Anyway when i had this gyudon for my "brunch", it was already 11 a.m. Even without the tuna auction, tsukiji market is still worth a visit! You can see some funny seafood, shell, big tuna tail, people bustling around (ready to called it a day, that is!).

Good to see, not nice to hold...

Both of us were like small kids, running around the area, taking movie clips and photos. On and off you can see scooter rushing past, be sure that you don't block the way! Better than daito, eh? Hehe!!!

Holding the tail and says: I'll be back! (eat tuna sushi, what else!)

And since we are here, we decided to try the sushi at some shops nearby. We both starting to queue up like everyone else, it must be good, else why wait for 1 hour just to try few piece of sushi?

Patient, is the key to sushi!

I think only 聰明さん can tell how good the sushi were, since he just can't stop eating!!! A non-regular like me can also feel the difference like those we found in Sushi King or Genki sushi in Malaysia.

It must be worth more than 2500 yen, as far as the quality is concern. Am i right, 聰明さん? Having sushi served in front of us, was another unforgettable expereince. One thing i like about Japan is everyone (almost, i think) respect their professions, like those sushi masters here. It's not that we deserves the food or good service since we paid the money, it's about satisfaction that the job has to offer. Friendly as they are, you won't be aware that they were among the highly paid masters in Japan!

Sushi, being served in front of us

Satisfied, we now heads to NICE's office, Shinjuku. 聰明さん have to drop me off to NICE's office since he had partime job to do. But before that we still manage to visit Tokyo Metropolitan Government twin towers, enjoying the breathtaking city view, FOC!
