My MG Experience

What is MG Car? I can't help you much on this topic, really. Not much of a car fans, let alone antique car!!!

Uncle Yue is a big fans of antique item, though. From antique MG, pre-war jeep, bike, tables, chairs to this phone here. All because he thought that it's pity some people sold these antique items for a cheap price, and lost forever. Beautiful in his eyes, even before restoring.

Everything in this car have their own stories, like this badges here. Triumph owner, indeed. Most of the owners will try their best to get back to original items. This include direct order from UK, or asking some Indian bread seller (on bike one) where to get the old fashioned horn! Enjoying the process, i would say :)

The ride may be a bit bumpy, and slow, but you can get all the attention you want. "People won't even glance at me, if i drive a Mercedes." he said. Luxury car owner might be just one of the rich guys, bald head, knows nothing about car except driving. That's what i thought every time i saw some BMW or Mercedes breakdown in the middle of highway.

I respect people for their ability to make tonnes of money. I also respect people who keep, maintain, and saved an antique. Uncle Yue? Both, i guess :)

Driving this baby for a long distance is not easy, as you need to stop once a while the cool the engines down. Uncle Yue used to drive all the way to Melaka from Raub for an exhibition - - 10 hours journey! What YM refers it as crazy act, but i don't mind doing that, serious!

Actually uncle Yue is sending the MG for some minor repair, a workshop next to a Tamil temple, and a Tamil temple next to a big cage - - Peacock cage, if you wonders.

Apparently a good efford by the local Indian society. RM 2000 a pair. Interested, anyone? I can help you to get some discount, say RM 1500 a pair. (Err, YM, XJ, we can talk about this later, hehe...)
