Gunung Senyum : Journey Begins

I can hardly find any detail information regarding Gunung Senyum, days before we are finally hit the road. The person in-charge there is not so keen to entertain us since we are in such a small and budget group.

"Empat orang saja kah? Datang dulu baru cakap lar!"- - With just four of us, i think we can adjust ourself, even without much planning. That's the best part of it!

6.53a.m., petrol station at Batu Caves

It's the "feeling" like this, keep us leaving the city whenever possible

It took us about an hour to reach Temerloh town, we would drove by Pahang river, Taman Harapan, funny "abused" car-seller, and finally, a left turn into smaller road after Temerloh Hospital.

Left: Buffalo dung!!! Sometime it's all over the road...

Once on the Jalan Kampung- - village road, we start winding down our windows, wish to get some fresh air.

Fresh-dung-air, indeed! :p Anyway it is not those dungs that worries us, in fact, we couldn't find a proper signboard showing the direction to Gunung Senyum. At one point, we actually need to stop down and ask for direction!

Brader, Gunung Senyum macam-mana pigi?

After some 40 minutes, we are happy with what's infront of us...

Gunung Senyum, at last!

My Kodak is always near me somewhere, with batteries in it, even when we are still on the highways. Can't wait to explore the area once i get out of the car, haha! Guess we will start with some forest trekking cum caving first, guided tour. We will erect our camp later, as soon as we finish the first "tour".

Yoke Meng will just handle the officer, get us a guide, as i expected :p Our "driver", again, all the way from Ipoh, busy looking for washroom.

Xiao Jin? Pretty much still in her dreams! :)

And i continue wandering the area...

Traditional Pahang house

Lake that separate the hill area and campsite/office

Every plant, own it's rights to the sun...

If i could just stay here longer...:)

Well, can always go back, by request :)

I felt so relaxed the whole stay, not too crowded, so we just take our own sweet time for everything.

That's what i call vacation!
