An hour 4095.2 m a.s.l.

On the way up, we were counting KM - - 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 .... lost count after KM6.5, can't see a thing when we push to the summit 3 a.m. in the morning!

From left: Sean and i, at Low's Peak, Mount Kinabalu, Sabah.
(Photo thanks to Sean)
But finally it's done, 16th July 2005, 5.30 a.m.
After trekking through few different "worlds" - - Lowland forest, Lower Montane, Upper Montane, Subalpine, Alpine, and eventually, Low's Peak.
We were relaxing at Kinabalu Pine Resort on the next day, while i took this photo...

What a view!

If you ask me, lichens, like this yellow one, was more difficult to find.

Hundreds and hundreds species of ferns, definetely heaven for fern lovers.

We were lucky enough to spot almost half of the pitcher plants species, like this Nepenthes Villosa.

Orchids? I'm still wondering why these epiphytes can grow much, much more stunning than their host tree!

Mushrooms, if you walk slowly, pay attention to this equally beautiful fungi.

But hey, don't be cheated by all those stuff on the grounds, look up to the sky once a while...
It's something you don't see everyday...almost everthing of them!
